About the Plaine d’Escrebieux Wind Farm
Located in Courcelles-lès-Lens, Esquerchin, and Flers-en-Escrebieux, the Plaine d’Escrebieux Extension wind farm consists of 4 wind turbines, each with a unit capacity of 13.8 MW. Commissioned in 2021, it generates an annual output equivalent to the electricity consumption of 16,600* residents.
This project contributes to reducing CO₂ emissions, with approximately 1,600* tonnes avoided each year, and plays a concrete role in the development of renewable energy in France.
