About the Febvin-Palfart Wind Farm
Nestled in the heart of Pas-de-Calais, the Febvin-Palfart wind farm illustrates Boralex’s commitment to sustainable renewable energy. Comprising 5 wind turbines, it boasts a total capacity of 11 MW.
Since its commissioning in 2025, it has met the annual energy needs of 12,500* residents. In addition to its energy performance, the site helps avoid the emission of 1,200* tonnes of CO₂, further strengthening its positive environmental impact.
A Tree Exchange to Benefit the Local Community
As part of its community engagement efforts, Boralex has launched a tree exchange for residents of Febvin-Palfart and Fontaine-lès-Boulans, located near the park.
This initiative aims to support the park’s integration into its surroundings while meeting local residents’ expectations regarding their living environment.
An Initiative to Enhance the Landscape and Biodiversity
Residents were thus able to choose from a selection of tree species suited to the region, contributing both to improving the landscape and to enhancing local biodiversity.
By promoting the planting of native species, this initiative also helps preserve ecosystems and ensure their adaptation to the region’s unique characteristics.
An Initiative Closely Aligned with Residents’ Needs
Through this initiative, Boralex continues its commitment to collaborative project development, working closely with local stakeholders and residents.
