About the Chépy Wind Farm
The Chépy wind farm is located in the municipality of Chépy, in the Somme department. Commissioned in 2003, it consists of 2 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 4 MW. This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 2,600* residents.
Thanks to this installation, nearly 260* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
This distribution center will supply Auchan Retail France stores and warehouses in northern France through December 2026
