About the Voie des Monts Wind Farm

The Voie des Monts wind farm is located in the municipalities of Castres, Grugies, and Essigny-le-Grand, in the Aisne department (02). Commissioned in 2007, it consists of 5 turbines with a total installed capacity of 10 MW.

This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 13,000* residents. Thanks to this installation, nearly 1,200* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
