About the Moulin Blanc Wind Farm
The Moulin Blanc wind farm is located in the commune of Marcelcave, in the Somme department (80). Commissioned in 2024, it consists of 8 wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 28.8 MW.
This site produces the equivalent of the annual electricity consumption of 28,700* residents. Thanks to this installation, nearly 2,800* tonnes of CO₂ emissions are avoided each year. This project is fully aligned with Boralex’s strategy to accelerate the energy transition across the region.
Auchan Retail France entered into a corporate PPA with Boralex, which enabled the financing and construction of the Moulin Blanc wind farm in the Hauts-de-France region.
