About the Inter deux Bos Wind Farm
Nestled in the heart of Pas-de-Calais, the Inter deux Bos wind farm illustrates Boralex’s commitment to sustainable renewable energy. Comprising 10 wind turbines, it has a total capacity of 34.5 MW.
Since its commissioning in 2018, it has met the annual electricity needs of 33,200* residents. In addition to its energy performance, the site helps avoid the emission of 3,200* tonnes of CO₂, further strengthening its positive environmental impact.
The Wind Farm from the Outside
Boralex’s facilities are located at the heart of local communities, and the company aims to play an active role in these communities by developing lasting relationships with local stakeholders. That is why Boralex funds philanthropic and sponsorship initiatives in the areas surrounding its wind farms.
Funded projects near the Inter Deux Bos wind farm:
- Les Quatre Saisons: Co-funding of a tour of the Steenwerck Museum organized by the association.
- Municipality of Metz-en-Couture: Support for an energy-efficiency renovation project at City Hall, including the replacement of window frames.
