About the Limekiln BESS Project
Located in the region of Reay, Highland, the Limekiln Battery Storage System (BESS) supports the integration of renewable electricity into the UK grid. By storing power when demand is low and releasing it when demand peaks, the project will contribute to improving grid stability and accelerating the energy transition.
Project Status
