Boralex Earns Silver Gender Parity Certification from Women in Governance

At Boralex, we believe that a fair, diverse, and inclusive work environment is essential to unlocking everyone’s full potential and building sustainable growth.

In 2024, we reached a major milestone: our commitment to promote inclusion and equitable employment practices was recognized with the Silver Parity Certification awarded by Women in Governance (La Gouvernance au Féminin, LGAF).

A credible recognition of our inclusion commitment

To structure our efforts and evaluate their impact, we carried out an assessment on our practices in collaboration with Women in Governance, a well-known organization championing women’s leadership and gender parity in the workplace.

As a result, Boralex joins the ranks of certified companies recognized for best practices in diversity and inclusion, thanks to:

  • Fair and inclusive HR policies
  • Active monitoring of human capital
  • A clear commitment to female representation
  • Significant progress in women’s leadership

Why this certification matters to Boralex ?

Inclusion is not optional — it’s essential to our collective success.

At Boralex, we strongly believe in embedding the principles of inclusion and equitable employment across all our business practices. Achieving the Silver level of the Parity Certification from Women in Governance is another step toward our vision of using inclusion to fuel sustainable growth, better manage risk, and broaden our horizons. Inclusion will also help foster creativity and strengthen team cohesion, creating positive impacts on employee well-being and on reaching our business objectives.

A high-impact certification

To obtain this certification, Boralex had to demonstrate that its policies, practices, strategic direction, decision-making processes, and culture ensure equitable inclusion of women and men.

We also set tangible progress goals to maintain and enhance parity — including developing strong female talent pipelines and supporting women’s access to leadership roles.

Toward sustainable, inclusion-based growth

At Boralex, we know that diversity and performance go hand in hand. This certification is a decisive milestone — and more importantly, a driver to keep building a more representative, fair, and inspiring workplace — for women and for all our teams.
