Technician - Building Ground & Maintenance

Welcome to the Expertise Department:

The Expertise department plays a key role in providing strategic insights and innovative solutions within our company. It ensures a high level of technical know-how, supports decision-making, and guides teams in optimizing their practices.

⚡You will play an important role in:

• General Maintenance & Safety: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, support infrastructure, and grounds adjacent to power generation facilities.
• Grounds & Access Management: Handle landscaping, snow removal, vegetation control, and access road maintenance to ensure safe and continuous site operations.
• Technical Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of structures (roofing, basic plumbing, simple HVAC systems, fencing) and coordinate with external contractors as needed.
• HSE Culture: Rigorously apply Boralex’s Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring a zero-accident work environment is maintained.

💡 You will stand out with the following profile:

• Hands-on Experience: Proven experience in building maintenance, commercial/industrial groundskeeping, or a related trade (construction, renovation).
• Manual Dexterity & Autonomy: Ability to quickly troubleshoot basic technical issues and safely operate the required tools and equipment.
• Team Spirit & Rigor: Strong commitment to workplace safety standards and comfort collaborating with technical operators in the field.
• Flexibility: Valid driver's license (travel between sites required) and ability to work outdoors under various weather conditions.

💰CompensationThe expected annual base salary range for this position is $26 – $28. This range includes the target value of the annual Short-Term Incentive Plan (STIP).

Your total compensation will vary depending on your experience, skills, qualifications, and work location. At Boralex, we strive to offer competitive and equitable compensation aligned with both the market and internal practices.
