About the Savoisy Wind Project in France
The site selection resulted from a detailed analysis of constraints (technical, environmental, heritage protection, and proximity to residences) carried out in the Côte-d’Or department. This mapping analysis identified a study area free from any listed constraints.
In early 2016, the development teams met with the host municipalities and obtained their agreement and support for the development of a wind farm project. Studies began in 2018 with the installation of a wind measurement mast, the launch of an acoustic study, and the completion of environmental and landscape assessments. Conducted by independent consulting firms, these studies led to a series of recommendations that established the principles for the project’s layout.
