Project overview Des Neiges - Secteur Charlevoix
The Des Neiges - Secteur Charlevoix project will be located in the Charlevoix RCM, and will involve 57 wind turbines with an installed capacity of 400 MW.
In anticipation of Quebec's major energy needs in the short and medium term, Hydro-Québec has joined forces with Boralex and Énergir to develop three wind power projects on the Seigneurie de Beaupré territory. This partnership is in line with Hydro-Québec's desire to build up a portfolio of wind power projects with experienced partners in Québec.
More concretely, the partners are proposing the Des Neiges wind projects, adjacent to the existing Seigneurie de Beaupré wind farms. The 400 MW Des Neiges projects are developed separately to meet Hydro-Québec's needs.
