Built in 1913 and renovated in 1995, Buckingham is a 10 MW hydroelectric power station located on the sides of the Lièvre River in Quebec's Outaouais region. It is covered by 25-year power sales contract (1994-2019) with Hydro-Quebec which the renewal is expected in 2019 for another 25 years.
