Developed in two phases, Avignonet-Lauragais wind farm includes 12 turbines totalling 13 MW of installed capacity. It is Boralex's first wind farm, which the first phase of 8 MW was commissoned on November, 2002, and the second phase of 5 MW was commissionned on February, 2008. The wind farm is located in the Commune of Avignonet-Lauragais in the department of Haute-Garonne in France's Southwestern region.

The wind farm is paired with Boralex's Avignonet-Lauragais solar park which forms the first mix energy site in France.
