Isabelle Fontaine

Isabelle Fontaine is Senior Vice President, Marketing, Public Affairs & Corporate Communications at Boralex. She joined the company in November 2019 as Director, Government Affairs and was quickly promoted to Director, Public Affairs and Communications in June 2020.

As Vice President, Marketing, Public Affairs and Corporate Communications, Isabelle manages all communications for Boralex’s external and internal audiences. Government relations, media relations, public affairs, corporate communications and marketing are all under her leadership.

A renowned strategist, Isabelle has collaborated throughout her career in the development and implementation of strategic public affairs and government relations plans for national and international companies, particularly in the energy and natural resources sectors. As a consultant for 13 years, she has helped her clients sustainably influence public policy in Quebec and Canada and promote their projects to public decision-makers, political players and influencers to ensure their successful completion.

Isabelle Fontaine is also President of the Board of Directors of the Cégep de Sherbrooke and sits on the Board of Directors of the Association québécoise de la production d’énergie renouvelable (AQPER).
