Boralex Recognized as a Main Leader by “Les Mercuriades”
After successfully making it through the pre-selection process in two separate categories of the prestigious contest “Les Mercuriades” of the “Chambre de commerce du Québec”, Boralex was selected as a finalist in the category for “New Investment Project”. The construction of the 34.6 MW wood-residue thermal power station in Senneterre was the project submitted in this category. Over 200 people worked on the construction of this $61 million power station. The realization of this project generated important financial benefits for the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. This recognition is the proof of the commitment and know-how of an entire team.
